Armaf Old Money men's perfume

A Refined Opening

The fragrance opens with the crisp aromatic character of lavender, sharpened by black pepper and brightened by bergamot. The contrast between cool aromatics and fresh spice gives the opening a poised, confident feel, setting the tone for a fragrance that feels composed rather than loud.

A Powdery, Intriguing Heart

At the heart, Tuscan iris brings a smooth, powdery elegance, while ambrette, pear and nectar add a soft, subtly sweet dimension. Praline, coffee and black licorice introduce deeper gourmand and aromatic facets, while the unusual presence of concrete gives the composition a modern, mineral edge. Together, these notes create a fascinating balance between softness, sweetness and darker earthy nuances.

A Distinctive Dry-Down

As the fragrance develops, musk, cedarwood and vetiver create a warm woody foundation. Powdery notes soften the structure, while cocoa, mineral notes, smoke, lava, roots and skin bring depth and an intriguing earthy-mineral character. The result is a dry-down that feels textured, warm and quietly sensual.

Why It Stands Out

Polished yet unconventional: Classic elements such as lavender, iris, cedarwood and musk are given a more unusual character through mineral, smoky and earthy nuances.

Powdery with depth: Iris and powdery notes create a refined softness, while coffee, cocoa, licorice and vetiver add darker layers underneath.

A memorable signature: The combination of mineral, woody, musky and subtly sweet accords gives Old Money an individual character that develops gradually on the skin.

In summary, Armaf Old Money is a sophisticated fragrance built around contrast - aromatic freshness, powdery iris, subtle gourmand sweetness and an earthy mineral base. Its layered composition offers a modern interpretation of understated elegance, designed for those who appreciate fragrances with texture, depth and personality.
